He is the C.E.O of record label B.A.H.D Guys Entertainment as well as Film & Television production company, House 21 Media.
He was born on October 27, 1990 in Lagos, Nigeria to parents who are prominent human rights lawyers and activists, Falz studied law and began practicing in 2012. However, a stronger pull was to use his gift and love for the creative arts to tell compelling universal stories that connected, moved, and transformed lives.
His biggest breakthrough, however, came in 2018 when he released a remake of American artist Childish Gambino’s hit single ‘This is America’. Falz’s version ‘This is Nigeria’ addressed socio-economic and political issues affecting the everyday Nigerian including corruption, lack of security, poverty, rising drug addiction among youths, and the kid-
napping of the Nigerian Chibok girls.
